Jim Griffin joins the Lebanon Valley Men's Lacrosse coaching staff as an assistant in 2021.
Griffin comes to LVC after a four-year stint as the head coach at Division II Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Griffin served as the first ever men's lacrosse head coach at Chowan. In just his second season, Griffin led the Hawks to an 8-7 record while having his offense rank 19th in the country for scoring and had two players finish in the top-five for offensive points in the nation.
Prior to his time at Chowan, Griffin also coached at Post University and York College of Pennsylvania. At Post, Griffin was again the first head men's lacrosse coach in school history. At York, Griffin saw a lot of success as he is second all-time in wins as a head coach while at the helm of the Spartans. He won 56 games at the perennial Division III power while coaching 24 All-Capital Athletic Conference players and eight All-Americans.
As a player, Griffin played midfield at Division II Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina.
