Dan Frantz

Dan Frantz was named assistant men's lacrosse coach in October of 2014. Frantz comes from a lacrosse background having played defense for Alvernia where he was a three-year captain. In his career he scooped up 284 ground balls, caused 264 turnovers and notched 22 goals as a MAC Commonwealth All-Conference defender. He graduated owning the school record for ground balls. While still attending Alvernia, he began his coaching career working with club lacrosse at Body Zone Elite in Wyomissing and 380 Lacrosse in Douglassville.

After graduating in 2013 with a degree in athletic training Frantz moved his career to Saint Michael’s College of Colchester, Vt. He served as the assistant men’s lacrosse coach, as well as their defensive coordinator and face-off coach. With his degree from Alvernia, Frantz is also a certified athletic trainer.
