Former LVC hockey standout Brendon Herr '06 begins his second season as an assistant at LVC.

Herr played in 95 games for the Dutchmen over his collegiate career from 2002-06. He tallied 57 points on 24 goals and 33 assists. He was invited to attend two minor league tryout camps after graduation and has continued his own development on the ice by working with the head power skating coach of the three-time Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins.

Upon his graduation from LVC, Herr served as an assistant coach at his high school, Wyoming Seminary from 2006-08. While there, he worked with both the varsity and junior varsity programs.

He has also coached with the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Jr. Knights hockey program for the past two seasons, working with younger players as they develop their game. In addition, he has served as a hockey trainer at the Revolution Hockey Training Center.

He currently resides in Annville.
