Willie Hope joined the LVC staff in June 2023 as an assistant coach after two years as a graduate assistant at Messiah University.
Hope, a 2018 Messiah graduate, played four years for the Falcons and averaged 8.8 minutes per game in 52 career games. The guard shot .441 from the floor, scoring 63 points with 75 assists and 62 rebounds in 459 minutes.
He earned a degree in Communications from Messiah and prior to working as a graduate assistant for the Falcons, Hope worked as the sports director at WYMT in Hazard, Ky.Â
"My wife, Lauren, and I are excited to join the Dutchmen family," stated Hope. "I have played and coached against LVC, and I know they are a high-quality program. I'm excited to start and contribute to the program's success."
