Scott Lackey joins LVC as its quarterbacks coach in 2014 after a highly successful high school coaching career around the Lancaster-Lebanon and Mid-Penn leagues. Lackey was most recently the defensive coordinator at Cedar Cliff High School, helping them win a league title and make an appearance in the PIAA District 3AAAA playoffs in 2013. He had previously been the defensive backs and wide receivers coach there before taking over the defense.
Prior to Cedar Cliff, Lackey was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Penn Manor, where he helped transform the program into three straight district playoff appearances, consecutive nine-win seasons, and a district semifinal appearance in 2009. Lackey has also coached quarterbacks and defensive backs at McCaskey, Palmyra, and Bishop McDevitt. Lackey and his wife, Deb, have two children, Brayden and Tyler.
