Mike Wildasin

Mike Wildasin

With 40 years of football coaching experience, Mike Wildasin starts his eighth season as an assistant coach at LVC. Wildasin coaches the defensive line and is the assistant special teams coordinator.

During his tenure at LVC, Wildasin has helped develop a premier defensive line that included All-American ends Zach Bleiler ’11 and Cory Homer ’12. Nose tackle Kevin Smith was a 2012 First-Team All-MAC pick.

Wildasin is a 1969 graduate of Shippensburg, where he started every game of his four-year career at center. His previous coaching experience includes head coaching positions at James Buchanan and Penn Manor high schools, as well as assistant coaching positions at other high schools along with Shippensburg University and Gettysburg College. He is a retired guidance counselor.

He and his wife, Sue, are the parents of Kate and son-in-law Greg with granddaughters Becca and Maggie, daughter Greta and son-in-law James with grandchildren Justyce and Caiden, and son Mark.
