John Love finished up his first season of coaching at LVC in 2017.
He began his career at Hiram College in Ohio, where he oversaw the pitching staff. During his time at Hiram, the Terriers saw their highest win totals in a decade and Love helped lead them to their first conference playoff appearance since joining the NCAC. Love spent the following two years at Central College (Iowa) as the top assistant and pitching coach. He guided several pitchers to individual awards, including a conference pitcher of the year and many all-region and all-conference nominations.
Love graduated from Juniata College in 2011 and was a four-year starter for the Eagles, ranking fourth all-time in shutouts and seventh in starts and complete games. He earned a master's degree from Hiram College in 2014.
Love will help the Dutchmen with recruiting, as well as help guide LVC in all facets of the game. He also serves as a Membership Services Associate in the Arnold Sports Center.
