High School/Personal: Was also a member of the LVC track & field team as a hurdler, winning silver at the 2009 MAC indoor championships in the 55 hurdles and bronze in the 110 hurdles at 2009 MAC Outdoors ... Son of Sompong and Sery Phanthavong ... Business administration major.
