KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Jillian Fidler carded an even par 72 to finish second overall out of 42 golfers on Wednesday afternoon at the MAC Preview on the course of Berkleigh Golf Club in Kutztown.
Fidler recorded the second-best round in program history and was just one stroke off her program record of 71 that she carded in the fall to win the Susquehanna Invitational. The junior finished second overall and was one stroke back of Alvernia's Grace Spielman, who took home medalist honors with a 71. As a team, LVC recorded a score of 387 to finish third out of eight schools. York College of Pennsylvania won with a 331 while Hood College was second at 373. Misericordia University finished fourth with a score of 389.
Inside the Results
- Fidler had a great front nine with seven pars and birdies on the par-five fourth hole and the par-five seventh hole for a two-under 35. She birdied the par-four 10th hole and recorded a 37 on the back nine to finish with a 72. She totaled 12 pars and three birdies for the round.
- Alexa Pridham had a great day with a season-best 99 to finish tied for 21st. The senior carded a 46 on the front nine and a 53 on the back nine. She had three pars and birdied the par-five seventh hole.
- Leela Nemani had her best round with a 106 to finish tied for 30th. The sophomore recorded four pars on the afternoon. Nemani posted a 48 on the front nine and a 58 on the back nine.
- Anna Tokle had a season-best round of 110 to finish tied for 34th. She recorded a birdie on the par-five fourth hole and added two pars. Tokle had a 50 on the front nine and a 60 on the back nine.

LVC will be back on the link this Saturday in the final regular-season invitational of the year as the Dutchmen compete in the East Stroudsburg Invitational. The shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Glen Brook Golf Club in Stroudsburg.
