Women’s Tennis Earns Convincing Win at Misericordia

DALLAS, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's tennis team took a big step towards a home postseason match on Saturday afternoon with a big 6-1 victory over host Misericordia University in Dallas.

The Dutchmen (12-3, 3-0 MAC Freedom) won their third consecutive match against the Cougars (4-4, 2-2 MAC Freedom), a program they have battled for the second seed in the conference tournament the past three years. LVC was dominant on the courts, sweeping all three doubles matches in 30 minutes while dropping just five total games. The Dutchmen then won five of the six singles matches in straight sets, with Misericordia picking up its lone point of the match with a three-set victory at number one.
