Men’s Tennis Powers Past Misericordia in Return to Courts

DALLAS, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team showed no signs of rust in its first match in two weeks as the Dutchmen swept all nine matches in a dominant 7-0 victory over Misericordia University on Saturday afternoon in Dallas.

The Dutchmen (9-9, 2-0 MAC Freedom) improved to 8-0 all-time against the Cougars (1-7, 1-3 MAC Freedom) without dropping a set. LVC cruised through doubles play, winning all three matches in under 35 minutes, with the closest match being a 6-4 victory at number three. The Dutchmen then powered through singles play, with only two of the matches taking more than an hour. All six singles matches were won in straight sets, with Misericordia not winning more than four games in a set.
