5/1/2025 11:28:00 AM

ANNVILLE, Pa. — The Lebanon Valley College Athletic Department celebrated Flying Dutchmen achievements by teams and more than 600 individual student-athletes during its annual spring awards event, The Show, on Sunday, April 27.

Senior two-sport athlete Darrian Berkheimer and junior Women's Soccer player Alison Sepkovic served as emcees of the ESPY-style ceremony. Alec Di Cesare (Men's Cross Country and Track & Field) and Jordyn Grossman (Women's Swimming) shared senior reflections.

The major awards presented at The Show included:

Lou Sorrentino Outstanding Male Athlete Award—Braden Bohannon, Football, Basketball, and Golf
Bohannon started four years at quarterback on the Football team, was a four-year member of the Basketball team, and joined the Golf team this spring. The two-year football captain was named All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) twice and leaves LVC as the program leader in career total yards. He finished in the top five in program history in scoring and total touchdowns and led the MAC in scoring in the 2023 season. On the basketball court, Bohannon became a starter during conference play this season and scored a career-high 22 points with 10 rebounds in a big win over FDU-Florham.

Outstanding Female Athlete Award—Anna Dale, Ice Hockey
Dale became the first All-American in LVC Women's Ice Hockey history thanks to a record-breaking year. She led Division III in goals per game and short-handed goals, while breaking numerous program records. Dale was voted the Middle Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a Laura Hurd Award finalist, given to the top player in the nation for Division III. She has already established new program records for points, goals, game-winning goals, and short-handed goals in a career while leading the Dutchmen to the best season in program history and a spot in the first-ever MAC Tournament.

A Physical Therapy major with a 3.928 cumulative grade-point average, Kutzler became the first Academic All-American in program history this season and was also named the MAC Football Senior Scholar-Athlete. On the field, the cornerback earned Second Team All-Region and First Team All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) honors after finishing eighth in the nation with 0.6 interceptions per game. He has earned Academic All-MAC honors twice and has been named to the Dean's List six times.

An Early Childhood Education major with a 4.0 cumulative grade-point average, McInerney was named an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American for the second time this season. The outside hitter was recognized as the Volleyball Division III Academic All-America Team Member of the Year in 2023 after leading the nation in points per set and kills per set.
