GLENSIDE, Pa. – Elizabeth Morgan and 
Emily Beard combined for 17 points and 11 goals as the Lebanon Valley Women's Lacrosse team stayed perfect in conference play with a 17-5 victory at Arcadia University on Wednesday evening on Jean Lenox West Field in Glenside.
 
Morgan got the Dutchmen (9-4, 3-0 MAC Freedom) on the board first as she scored unassisted a couple minutes into the game on LVC's first offensive possession. A couple minutes later she assisted on Beard's first goal of the game. The duo teamed up less than a minute later as Beard gave LVC a 3-0 lead off an assist by Morgan. Morgan added her second goal of the game with 9:27 on the clock to put the Dutchmen up 4-0. Arcadia got on the board midway through the quarter to cut the deficit to three goals. The Dutchmen answered right back as Morgan found Jenn Davis over the middle for her third goal of the season. The lead grew to 6-1 as 
Kyla Hebert scored her first goal of the game off a pass by Morgan. The Knights were able to score twice in the final three minutes of the quarter to cut the lead to 6-3 after one.
 
LVC countered with a great start to the second quarter scoring three times in the first three minutes to force the Knights to call a timeout. Morgan began the scoring 34 seconds into the new period. 
Molly Whisler then scored off an assist from 
Bethany Cohee before Davis scored her second goal of the game to make it 9-3. The Knights held the Dutchmen off the board for five minutes until Beard assisted Morgan to put LVC up 10-3. Two minutes later, the Dutchmen took advantage of a card as Hebert found the back of the net for the second time off another assist by Morgan. Beard gave the Dutchmen a 12-3 halftime lead as she scored another woman-up goal with 38 second left off a feed by Cohee. The Dutchmen outshot the Knights 10-4 in the second quarter to pull away.
 
The second half was full of defense as there were a total of seven goals scored over the final 30 minutes in the game. The Dutchmen had five of the goals limiting the Knights to just one goal in each quarter on five total shots. The Knights scored the first goal of the half with 11:27 on the clock. LVC put a few shots high and wide before Beard scored off a free position shot to put the Dutchmen back up by nine with 2:54 remaining in the quarter. Less than a minute later, Beard scored again to make it 14-4 which the score stayed throughout the end of the period.
 
The fourth quarter began with the running clock and LVC added to the lead with a goal by Hebert to complete her hat trick five minutes into the quarter. Beard then added another goal quickly off the restart to increase the advantage to 12. Arcadia stopped the run with its final goal midway through the quarter. The Dutchmen scored the final goal of the game as Morgan finished off her career-high 10-point game with a goal.
 
Inside the Box
	- Morgan had the best game of her career with five goals and five assists for 10 points. She has now scored five goals in two of the three conference games. Morgan also had four ground balls and one caused turnover.
 
	- Beard had a team-high six goals and an assist for seven points. The fifth year scored on LVC lone free position shot of the game, had four caused turnovers, and three ground balls. Beard scored her 50th goal of the season and has scored at least four goals in all three conference games.
 
	- Hebert recorded her second hat trick of the season with three goals on four shots.
 
	- Davis scored two goals for her first career multi-goal game.
 
	- Cohee dished out two assists while Whisler added a goal.
 
	- Chloe Moser led the Dutchmen with eight draw controls and five ground balls.
 
	- Grace Marchese had a great game with five draw controls, one caused turnover, and one ground ball.
 
	- Annelise Vetter caused three turnovers and had a team-high six ground balls.
 
	- The Dutchmen had a 29-13 shot advantage. LVC was 13-15 on clear attempts and won 18 of 25 draw controls.

The Dutchmen will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday as LVC takes on Delaware Valley University at 12 p.m. on Arnold Field in Annville. Prior to the game the squad will honor the team's senior members.
