MADISON, N.J. – The Lebanon Valley Women's Tennis team earned a big road victory on Thursday afternoon as the Dutchmen dominated singles play in a 7-0 win at FDU-Florham in Madison, New Jersey.
LVC (8-8, 2-1 MAC Freedom) earned the doubles point with wins at number two and number three while the Devils (1-13, 0-5 MAC Freedom) won at number one. The Dutchmen then swept singles play with a dominating effort where the Dutchmen had four 6-0, 6-0 wins.
Inside the Box
- Nikki Denbowski and Abbey DeLiso were the first double court done with a 6-0 victory at number three. They evened their record to 2-2 on the season when playing together.
- Katie Berra and Megan Martin won 6-1 at number two doubles to clinch the team point. They are now 4-1 on the season when paired together and earned their first win at number two.
- Erika Badner and Sarah McComas had a close match at number one falling 7-5 to the Devils' top team.
- Badner was the first singles court to finish with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number three to improve to 9-8 on the season. Badner recorded the first double bagel of her career.
- Catherine Stone won her number two singles match 6-1, 6-0 to put the Dutchmen within a match of clinching the victory. She improved to 9-8 on the season.
- Emily Bryant clinched the match win with the fourth team point at number four singles as she earned a quick 6-0, 6-0 victory. Bryant evened her season record to 5-5 and is 2-0 at the fourth flight. The double bagel was her second of the season.
- Sarah McComas rallied from dropping the first set 6-3 to win in three sets. She won the second set 7-5 and then took the third set tiebreaker.
- Jenna Miner earned her second consecutive 6-0, 6-0 victory at number five singles for her sixth win of the year. She has won her last three matches.
- Laken Kelly was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at number six to improve to 6-2 on the season. She recorded her first double bagel of the year.

The Dutchmen will be back in action next Wednesday to start a huge week with another important road conference match at DeSales University. First serves against the Bulldogs will be at 3:30 p.m. in Center Valley.
