HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Lebanon Valley Women's Tennis team began the spring season with a 7-0 victory over St. John Fisher University on Sunday morning at Hilton Head High School in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
LVC (2-3) won the doubles point by winning at number one and number three doubles. The Dutchmen then swept all six singles matches.
Inside the Results
- Nikki Denbowski and Emily Bryant were the first doubles court done with a 6-1 victory at number three.
- Sarah McComas and Megan won at number one doubles in the first match playing together this year by a score of 6-2. The duo were 2-0 as double partners last year.
- McComas then cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number one singles for her third win of the season.
- Catherine Stone was a 6-2, 6-2 victor at number two singles for her first career singles win.
- Martin cliched the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win at number three singles in her first match of the year.
- Jenna Miner won 6-1, 6-0 at number five singles for her second consecutive win after ending the fall season strong.
- Katie Berra won her second match of the year with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at number four singles.
- Laken Kelly improved to 4-0 on the season with a 6-2, 6-3 win at number six.

Lebanon Valley will have a couple practice days before returning to competition against Roanoke College on Wednesday at the Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort for a 1 p.m. start time.
