Women’s Golf Competes at Gettysburg

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's golf team was in action for the first time in nearly a month on Saturday as the Dutchmen competed at the Gettysburg Fall Invitational on the course of Hanover Country Club in Abbottstown.
 
The Dutchmen recorded a team score of 438 to finish eighth in the field. Catholic University won the team title with a 337 over Division II Kutztown, which carded a 340. Franklin & Marshall's Sarah Wang won medalist honors with a six-over par 77.
 
Inside the Results
  • Jillian Fidler earned another top 10 finish as she carded an 83 to place seventh. She had a 43 on the front nine holes and was a five-over 40 on the back nine. Fidler birdied the par-three fifth hole and recorded eight pars on the afternoon.
  • Olivia Bartal finished 30th with a 102. She had one par on the third hole. Bartal carded a 50 on the front nine holes and a 52 on the back.
  • Alexa Pridham was 33rd with a 112. She had a 55 on the front nine and a 57 on the back.
  • Anna Tokle finished 39th with a 141. She carded a 69 on the front nine holes and a 72 on the back nine.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will wrap up the fall season on Monday afternoon at Lebanon Country Club as the team hosts the annual Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational. The shotgun start is set for 12 p.m. in Lebanon.
