ANNVILLE, Pa. –The Lebanon Valley women's tennis team continued their historic start to the season with a quick 9-0 sweep of FDU-Florham on Sunday afternoon at the Shankroff Tennis Center.
The 49th-ranked Dutchmen (12-0, 1-0 MAC Freedom) swept the three doubles matches in 25 minutes to begin the match and then swept all six singles matches. LVC, who were playing their first match as a nationally ranked team dropped just six total points against the Devils.
Inside the Box
- Jacquelyn McBride and Nicole Honrade won 8-0 at number one doubles and were the first match to finish.
- Eliana Shenk and Jenna Miner were next to finish with an 8-0 victory at number three doubles.
- Sarah McComas and Sarah Kramer were also 8-0 winners at number two doubles.
- McBride was the first singles match to finish as she improved to 11-2 on the season with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number two.
- Honrade clinched the match victory with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number one singles to improve to 8-2 on the year.
- Sarah McComas won 6-4, 6-0 at number three singles for her ninth consecutive win.
- Shenk won 6-0, 6-0 at number five singles for her fifth straight win.
- Kramer was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at number four singles to improve to 5-1 on the year.
- Megan Martin won 6-0, 6-0 at number six singles to improve to 10-2.
- The Dutchmen won the 21st consecutive match at the Shankroff Tennis Center and matched the program's best start to a season with a 12-0 record.

The Dutchmen will be back in action on Wednesday with the first road conference match of the season at Arcadia University. First serves are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Glenside.
