KINGSTON, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's tennis team improved to 5-0 this year with a 7-2 victory over Wilkes University on Sunday afternoon at the TK Tennis Academy in Kingston.
 
The Dutchmen won two of the three doubles matches and then five of the six singles matches to stay unbeaten in dual matches.
 
Inside the Box

• Jacquelyn McBride and Sarah McComas improved to 4-0 at number one doubles with an 8-2 win.
• Eliana Shenk and Nicole Honrade won 8-2 at number two doubles in their first match playing together this year.
• The Dutchmen are now 16-5 in doubles play this year.
• Megan Martin improved to 5-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number five singles.
• Shenk is also undefeated in singles play at 4-0 with a 6-1, 6-4 win at number four.
• McComas improved to 7-1 in singles with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at number three.
• Honrade won 6-2, 6-3 at number two to improve to 5-1 this year.
• McBride also won in straight sets at number one by a score of 7-5, 7-6 (7-2) to improve to. 5-2.
• The Dutchmen are 34-8 in singles play this year.

Up Next
LVC will be off next week before heading down to Hilton Head for Spring Break. The Dutchmen will face University of Mount Union on Monday March 4 at 4 p.m. at the Hilton Head Resort in the first of three matches for the week.
