Dutchmen Women’s Tennis Downs Albright

READING, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's tennis team kept their winning streak going with a 7-2 victory over host Albright College on Tuesday afternoon in Reading.
 
The Dutchmen (9-3, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) took a 2-1 lead after doubles with wins at second and third doubles. They then won five of the six singles matches with the only loss coming at number one to 2022 MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year Alex Pancu.

  • Meredith Haas and Madison Poladian earned a dominating 8-0 win at second doubles to improve to 3-1 on the season in duals.
  • Kendall Halsey and Jenna Miner won 8-2 at number three doubles in their first match playing together.
  • Haas picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at number three singles for her fourth consecutive victory.
  • Miner won 6-2, 6-2 winner at number five singles for her fourth victory of the year.
  • Abbie Hoffer improved to 3-0 on the season with a 6-1, 6-2 win at number six singles.
  • Sarah Kramer won a marathon three-set match 7-5, 0-6, 16-14 for her fourth consecutive win. She has now won four matches this year that went three sets.
  • Poladian was leading 6-0, 0-2 in her match at number four singles before her opponent retired due to injury.
  • The Dutchmen have won their last 13 regular season conference matches dating back to 2021.

LVC will be on the road once again this Saturday for a 1 p.m. match at York College of Pennsylvania in a rematch of the last two conference championships.
