FREDERICK, Md. – The Lebanon Valley women's tennis team opened Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play on Sunday with a 8-1 win at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.
LVC (8-3, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) won one of the two doubles matches that was played and earned a default win in the third. The Dutchmen then won all six points in singles.
Inside the Box Score
- Nicole Honrade and Sarah Kramer were 8-2 winners at number one doubles for their fifth consecutive win.
- Livia Jackson and Meredith Haas earned the default win at number three doubles.
- Honrade improved to 9-1 at number one singles with a 6-0, 6-2 win.
- Jackson also won 6-0, 6-2 at number three singles for her fourth dual victory of the season.
- Haas won 6-0, 6-2 at number four singles for her third consecutive win.
- Jenna miner was a 6-0, 6-2 winner at number five singles to improve to 3-2 on the season.
- Kramer won her third straight match with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at number two singles.

Lebanon Valley will have a short turnover with another road conference match on Tuesday afternoon. The Dutchmen will make the short trip to Reading to take on Albright College at 3:30 p.m.
