FREDERICK, Md. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team won 9-0 for the season straight match on Sunday as the Dutchmen began Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play with a win at Hood College.
LVC (9-3, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) picked up wins by default at number three doubles as well as number five and six singles. The Dutchmen won both doubles matches that were played and all four singles matches. LVC dropped just four total games in the four singles matches.
Inside the Box Score
- Jeffrey Bauer and Brian Ward won 8-5 at number one doubles.
- Brendan Byler and Michael Schuetz cruised to an 8-0 win at number two doubles.
- Bauer won his third straight at number three singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
- Schuetz was also a 6-0, 6-0 winner at number four singles for his second consecutive win.
- Adam Warren won his second consecutive match at number two singles with a 6-2, 6-0 victory.
- Justin Schuetz won 6-1, 6-1 at number one singles for his third consecutive win.
