HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team ended the spring trip to Hilton Head with a 5-4 victory over Roanoke College after beginning the match by sweeping doubles.
The Dutchmen (6-2) took an early 3-0 lead by winning all three doubles matches. Roanoke (3-6) rallied by winning four singles matches but LVC was able to hold off the rally by winning at number five and number six singles to clinch the match victory,

- Justin Schuetz and Adam Warren won 8-6 at number one doubles.
- The number two team of Jesse Beck and Brendan Byler were 8-2 winners.
- Michael Schuetz and Jacob Erb teamed up at number three doubles to win 8-1.
- Byler won his number six singles match 6-0, 6-2 to improve to 4-0 on the season when playing in the sixth flight.
- Beck won his number five singles match 6-2, 6-3 to clinch the victory for the Dutchmen.

LVC will be off until March 18 when they travel to Collegeville for a 1 p.m. start against Ursinus College.
