Softball Sweeps Another Doubleheader to Improve to 5-1

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Lebanon Valley softball team continued their hot start to the season with another pair of wins on Tuesday afternoon at the DiamondPlex Softball Complex in Winter Haven. LVC defeated University of Massachusetts Dartmouth 11-7 in the opener and then shut down Marietta College 5-0 in the night cap.

Game One vs. UMass Dartmouth
The Corsairs (3-2) took the lead with a four-run third inning on four hits and an error. LVC (4-1) came right back in the bottom half of the inning scoring four runs with two outs. Maddy Gronback then singled to center to score Mackenzie Willey. Megan Heard tied things up with another single to center scoring Truitt.
