Poladian Wins Singles Match In Women’s Tennis Spring Opener

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Madison Poladian was a three-set singles winner for the Lebanon Valley women's tennis team in the spring opener against Drew University at the Van der Meer Tennis Center in Hilton Head. The Rangers won the match 8-1.
 
Drew (1-0) won all three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches to earn the victory.
 
Inside the Box Score
  • Poladian improved to 3-0 in dual matches this year with a 4-6, 6-1, 10-3 victory at number five singles.
  • Poladian and Eliana Shenk dropped a close 8-5 decision at number two doubles.
  • Shenk had an incredibly close singles match that needed a tiebreaker in the second set. After a 6-3 defeat in the first set Shenk dropped a heart-breaking 12-10 tiebreaker in the second set.
