ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's basketball team had three student-athletes named Academic All-District® this week by College Sports Communicators (CSC) in a release by the professional organization.
The Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March.
The three Dutchmen honorees are
Daelyn Stabler,
Kate Fitzpatrick, and
Elise Balmer.
Stabler is a senior biology major from Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. She started all 26 games for the Dutchmen this season averaging 27.7 minutes per game. She had 235 points and 195 rebounds averaging 9.0 points and 7.5 rebounds a game as a forward.
Fitzpatrick is a junior business administration major from Middletown, Pennsylvania. She led the team with 432 points in 25 games. She started all 25 games she played in and averaged 33.8 minutes, 17.3 points, and 4.6 rebounds a game as a guard.
Balmer is a sophomore exercise science major from Lititz, Pennsylvania. She played in 23 games averaging 7.2 minutes per game this year as a guard and scored seven points while grabbing 21 rebounds.
