MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Junior forward
Evin Timochenko registered his second consecutive double-double on Sunday, recording 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Lebanon Valley College men's basketball team in an 85-73 defeat to Marymount University. This strong performance from Timochenko came on the second day of the Penn State Harrisburg Tip-Off Classic, helping earn the forward a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
Lebanon Valley (0-3) and Marymount (1-2) went back and forth all afternoon, trading the lead eight times during the game. The programs were tied early in the first half, but the Saints went ahead to lead at halftime. The Flying Dutchmen were productive offensively at the start of the second, as the squad reclaimed the lead. Marymount later took the advantage and remained in front through the end of play.
The Dutchmen and Saints battled early in the first half, as the programs exchanged baskets until the score was even at 13-13 just 6:35 into the contest. Senior guard
Jevon Griffin played a key role during this stretch, making a pair of three-pointers. Sophomore guard
Kyle Tang also recorded six points during this span, including the game-tying layup. Marymount then went on an 8-2 run, taking a six-point advantage with 10:48 to go in the stanza.
Lebanon Valley responded 14 seconds later with a three-pointer by junior guard
Evan Smith, trimming its deficit to 21-18. The Saints followed this was a 17-7 stretch over the next 6:16, making it a 38-25 contest with just over four minutes left in the opening half. LVC trailed by 13 with just over a minute to go, but the program finished the stanza strong with a 5-0 run. The Flying Dutchmen received a pair of free throws by junior guard
Ryan Harder and a three-pointer by graduate student guard

The Dutchmen kept their offense rolling at the start of the second half, scoring nine straight points within the first 2:28 to take a 44-43 lead over the Saints. The squad went ahead on a three-pointer by Harder, a layup by Tang and two layups by Timochenko. The programs then exchanged points until the score was even at 50-50 with 14:40 remaining. Marymount responded with a 13-5 run over the next 4:08, taking a 63-55 advantage.
Lebanon Valley answered with a four-point play, trimming its deficit to four with 10:06 to play. Smith narrowed the opposition's lead with a three-pointer and a free throw. The Saints followed this with a 13-4 stretch, making it a 76-63 game with 4:26 to go. The Dutchmen continued to battle during the remainder of the game, outscoring the opposition 10-9 in the final minutes. During this span, Garcia and junior guard
Tyson Hofsass scored four points, while Timochenko also made a layup. Ultimately, Marymount held on to its lead through the end of the contest.

- Timochenko recorded his second straight double-double, leading Lebanon Valley with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Timochenko was named to the Penn State Harrisburg Tip-Off Classic's All-Tournament Team, as the forward logged 39 points and 23 total rebounds over both days of the Classic.
