NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Lebanon Valley cross country teams earned All-Academic awards for the 2022 season from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as announced by the association in a release on Thursday.
 
The Dutchmen men's cross country and women's cross country teams earned All-Academic Team honors after recording a team cumulative GPA over 3.1 on a 4.0 scale during the fall semester. Jordan Berger and Lauren Bunke were named All-Academic Student-Athletes after recording a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finishing in the top-25 percent of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship meet in November.
 
Overall, there were 212 women's programs and 189 men's programs that were honored. Individually, 383 women from 137 different institutions and 320 men from 119 different institutions were named All-Academic Athletes. The women's squad had a 3.542 team GPA while the men had a 3.309 team GPA. Berger finished 15th at the Regional Championships and qualified for Nationals as a computer and data science major with a 3.373 GPA. Bunke also earned All-Region honors with a 28th-place finish at the regional meet as a physical therapy major with a 3.439 GPA.
