INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Lebanon Valley cross country teams will be well represented at next week's NCAA Division III National Championship race as the men's team was announced as an at-large qualifier as a team and
Coyla Bartholomew qualified as an individual for the women.
The men's team finished third at yesterday's Mid-Atlantic Region Championship and were one of 22 at-large teams selected to compete at the National Championship meet. A total of 32 teams will compete at the Championship to be held at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 22. The men's race is scheduled for at 10 a.m. start. This is the first time in program history the Dutchmen have qualified for the National Championship as a team.
Bartholomew will be one of 70 individuals, along with the 32 teams to run in the women's National Championship race. She finished 14th overall yesterday and was one of the top seven finishers who wasn't a part of a qualifying team. She becomes LVC's sixth women's runner to qualify for the National Championships and first since Lauren Bunke in 2023. The women's race will follow the men's race next Saturday, with a 11 a.m. start time.
