Weitzel Nets a Goal at Gettysburg

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team fell to Gettysburg on Wednesday evening 3-1.
 
Gettysburg (2-0-1) was the first to get on the board in the match up with a goal in the fourth minute. The remainder of the half, both teams were unable to score making it 1-0 Gettysburg going into the half. The Bullets opened scoring of the second half with a goal in the 71st minute. Lebanon Valley (3-3) got on the board in the 83rd minute with a goal from Aaron Weitzel of an assist of Anderson Velozwong to make it a 2-1 game. Gettysburg then capped off the 3-1 victory over LVC with a penalty kick in the 88th minute.

  • Weitzel put the goal up for LVC on the evening, Velozwong provided the assist.
  • Dalton Fitterling put up eight saves on the evening. 
 
Who's Next
The Dutchmen will return to Herbert Field on Saturday to face the Lycoming Warriors. The matchup is set to start at 1 p.m.
