ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women's tennis team began the 2022 fall season with a 7-2 victory over visiting University of Scranton on Saturday afternoon at the Shankroff Tennis Center.
Meredith Haas,
Madison Poladian, and
Eliana Shenk all won their singles and doubles matches for the Dutchmen. LVC won two of the three doubles matches and then five of the six singles.
Inside the Box Score
- Sarah Kramer and Shenk were the first to finish at number three doubles with a 8-1 victory.
- Haas and Poladian were next winning 8-2.
- Haas won her number four singles match 6-3, 6-2 while Shenk won at number five 6-3, 6-2.
- Poladian was a 6-0, 7-5 winner at number six singles.
- Nicole Honrade won 6-3, 6-1 at number one singles while Livia Jackson was a 6-3, 6-1 winner at number three.
- The Dutchmen beat Scranton for the first time since 2013 stopping a skid of six straight matches. LVC dropped a 7-2 decision at Scranton last fall.

The Dutchmen will compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships next Saturday and Sunday up in Wilkes-Barre.
