Annville, Pa. – Aidan Negron opened scoring on the season for the Lebanon Valley men's soccer team as they faced No. 19 Franklin and Marshall. 
 
Franklin and Marshall (1-0) were the first to get on the board in the match up, as the Diplomats put a goal away in the 14^th minute. The rest of the first half consisted of a back-and-forth battle to go into the half with the Diplomats leading 1-0. Lebanon Valley (0-1) opened scoring in the second half with a goal from Negron, assisted by Peter Foerster. Franklin and Marshall responded in the 60^th minute with another goal to take the 2-1 lead. For the remainder of the half the Diplomats held strong defensively and took the 2-1 final victory over LVC.
 
Inside the Box Score

• Negron put one goal away with his single shot on goal, while Foerster provided the assist. 
• Anderson Velozwang led the team with two shots on net. Connor Given, Charlie McCormick, Tyler Snavely, Aaron Weitzel and Negron each followed with one. 
• Dalton Fitterling stood in goal for the Dutchmen, stopping five shots on the evening. 

Who's Next
 
The Dutchmen will stay at Herbert Field as they will host Mount Aloysius College on Sunday afternoon. Kick-off is slotted for 4 p.m.
