Ralston Continues Hot Streak At Misericordia

DALLAS, Pa.Trey Ralston had his second hat trick of the week to lead the Lebanon Valley College men's lacrosse squad in a 16-8 defeat at Misericordia on Saturday afternoon in Dallas.
 
Misericordia (5-1) used a big third quarter where they outscored the Dutchmen 6-2 to earn the victory after leading 6-3 at halftime. The Dutchmen (3-4) fought valiantly on the road against the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom-leading Cougars.
 
Inside the Numbers
  • Ralston scored all three of his goals in the fourth quarter including the final two goals of the game. He finished the week with seven goals in two games and now is second on the team with 12 goals.
  • Colin Hughes had another strong game with one goal and two assists. He has recorded a point in the first seven games to begin his career.
  • Alex Kiviniemi scored twice in the first half and had four ground balls in the game. Carson Frey and Jack Kapcsos also scored a goal each for the Dutchmen.
  • Gavin Porter won 10 faceoffs while Nick Serrano made a season-high 25 saves in goal.
  • The Dutchmen forced 18 turnovers while only committing 16. Lebanon Valley cleared the ball well as they were successful on 19 of 24 attempts. 
Who's Next
The Dutchmen will host the Wilkes-Barre schools this week starting with Wilkes University on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. on Arnold Field. LVC will then host King's College on Friday night at 7 p.m. under the lights.
