WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – No. 11 Wilkes defeated Lebanon Valley men's ice hockey 8-1 in a United Collegiate Hockey Conference game on Saturday, Feb. 5.
 
Wilkes took control of the game early with three goals in the opening period.
 
Cade Freer scored the LVC goal at 18:00 of the third with Darion Benchich and Brad Viola picking up assists.

• With two goals on Friday, Benchich finished the weekend with three points.
• Viola continued his helping hand, registering his third assist in his last two games.

Coach Says
"It was a tough loss tonight. Wilkes is a very good team. We will be ready to put work in this week in preparation for Stevenson and Chatham," said head coach Don Parsons.
