ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women's lacrosse team had four different student-athletes record multi-point games on Saturday afternoon as visiting University of Scranton used a second half rally to defeat the Dutchmen 11-8 on Arnold Field in Annville.
LVC got off to a strong start scoring the first two goals of the game. The Royals evened the score before the Dutchmen ended the first and started the second quarters with four straight goals to take a 6-2 lead. Lebanon Valley went into the half leading 7-4 before Scranton scored the first six goals of the second half to take a 10-7 lead.
Inside the Numbers
- Sydney Zimmerman and Emily Beard each scored two goals while Bailey Dills had one goal and one assist and Veronica Venezia recorded two assists.
- Zimmerman has scored at least two goals in all three games this year. Venezia increased her point total to a team-best 15 with her third multi-point game of the year.
- Beard had her second multi-goal game in a row while taking five shots and picking up three ground balls.
- Julia Abendschoen made a season-high 15 saves in goal.
- Brittany Hathaway scored her team-leading 11th goal of the year and won six draw controls to give her 19 on the season.

LVC will travel to New Jersey next Saturday to take on 10th-ranked TCNJ at 1 p.m. in Ewing.
