YORK, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College men's soccer team wrapped up the 2022 season on Saturday afternoon with an extremely tight affair at York College of Pennsylvania. The host Spartans scored the lone goal of the game in the 10th minute to defeat the Dutchmen 1-0.
York kept the pressure on the Dutchmen after scoring the early goal but the LVC defense held strong.
Peter Foerster nearly tied the game up in the 27th minute as he forced the Spartan keeper to make a save. Both teams locked down on defense limiting shots the remaining of the game.
Anderson Velozwong was inches away from tying the score in the 82nd minute with his shot hitting the post.

- Zach Creighton and Velozwong had two shots each for the Dutchmen.
- Dalton Fitterling made nine saves in goal to give him 109 on the season. He finished the year with a 1.69 goals-against average
