OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Lebanon Valley women's soccer squad took a big 2-0 shutout victory over Stevenson on Saturday evening. The Dutchmen clinched their slot in the MAC Commonwealth Championships, after notching a 5-0-1 conference play record.
Lebanon Valley (6-4-4, 5-0-1 MAC Commonwealth) had its first point on the board in the 27
th minute with a goal from
Alyssa Peiffer. In the 75
th minute,
Jordan Lasky capped off the win with a goal off an assist from
Alison Sepkovic. The Dutchmen defense fought hard and kept the Mustangs scoreless to walk away with a 2-0 victory.
Inside the Box
- Lasky and Peiffer each had two-point evenings with a goal each.
- Sepkovic handed out an assist.
- Yoder led the Dutchmen with two shots on net. Darrian Berkheimer, Emma Houck, Lasky and Peiffer each tallied one.
- Jocelyn Umana notched another shutout win for LVC, putting up five saves in goal.
- LVC out shot Stevenson 12-8, 6-5 on goal.
