OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Stevenson scored two minutes into overtime to pull out a 3-2 win over Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey in a United Collegiate Hockey Conference matchup on Saturday, Jan. 29.
LVC trailed 1-0 before scoring a pair of goals less than a minute apart to take a 2-1 lead at 14:46 of the second period.
Abby Radcliffe scored unassisted, and then
Katie Pounder followed with helpers from
Victoria Scurto and Radcliffe.
Stevenson countered three minutes later with the tying goal, and the teams played a scoreless third to send the game to the extra session.
LVC's
Shelby Guinard finished with 33 saves.
Inside the Numbers
- Radcliffe scored her seventh goal of the season, which ties her for second on LVC's single-season record list. Her 10 points this season are seventh on the single-season list.
- Scurto has at least one assist in three of her last four games and leads the team with four.
- Guinard has 30 saves or more in her last five starts.
