HERSHEY, Pa. – Stealing the puck from a defender trying to clear the zone, Lebanon Valley's
Katie Pounder fired off a quick goal as the Dutchmen finished in a 1-1 tie with Neumann University at Hersheypark Arena in United Collegiate Hockey Conference action on Wednesday, Jan. 12.
In the shootout, Lebanon Valley's
Olivia Cindrich scored the lone goal to give the Dutchmen an extra point in the standings.
Shelby Guinard finished the game with 34 saves in goal.
Neumann's Brigitte Maikisch opened the scoring midway through the first on a goal through traffic in front of the net.
LVC is now 4-6-1 (UCHC 3-5-1), while Neumann is 1-10-2 (UCHC 1-6-2-1).

- Pounder's game-tying goal was her first tally of the season.
- Guinard made 30+ saves for the third time this season.
- LVC held the edge in shots, 39-35, including 19 in the second period.
