ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's Women's Tennis team narrowly defeated Goucher College 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon. The Flying Dutchmen, who played their final home match of the fall season today, improved to 3-1, while the Gophers fell to 0-3.

LVC took control of the match early after earning a pair of doubles victories. At No. 1 doubles, reigning MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Jacquelyn McBride teamed up with
Meredith Haas to take down Ceri McCaffrey and Gigi Bellisario 8-4. Then,
Madison Poladian and
Eliana Shenk cruised past Shelby Meek and Eliza Abady 8-1.

In singles play, McBride won from the No. 1 spot by scores of 6-0 and 6-3. Haas breezed by Meek at No. 2 doubles 6-2, 6-2. Finally, DeLisio sealed LVC's win after edging Sarai Silvera 3-6, 6-4, 10-6 from the No. 6 spot.

The Dutchmen are back in action this Sunday, Oct. 3, at Scranton at noon.
