ST. DAVID'S, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team recorded their second consecutive 9-0 victory this time over Eastern University in MAC Commonwealth action. The Dutchmen improve to 6-1, 3-1 MACC while Eastern falls to 0-5, 0-4 MACC.
The Dutchmen were dominant all day en route to their sweep in both doubles and singles. The #1 doubles duo of
Nicole Honrade and
Jacquelyn McBride as well as the #3 doubles team of
Emily Wilczek and
Meridyth Sanders both picked up wins without dropping a single game.
In singles play, the six Dutchmen winners combined to lose just four games in the six matches. McBride, Sanders, and Birch each picked up 6-0, 6-0 sweeps over their opponents. This was the second straight 6-0, 6-0 victory for Sanders at #5 singles.
