With 4:57 remaining in the opening half, Brittany Hathaway brought the Dutchmen to within six at 9-3, but the Spartans ended the half on a 3-0 run and took a 12-3 advantage into the second half.

After York's Rachel Della scored at 26:32 of the second to put the visitors ahead 13-3, Emily Haid netted her third of the year off an assist from Veronica Venezia to make it 13-4 game. In the end, the No. 6 team in the country extended its lead and the Dutchmen were unable to mount a comeback.
