How It Happened
MADISON, N.J. – FDU-Florham used a big second half to run by the Lebanon Valley women's lacrosse team in a high-scoring affair, 22-11, on Saturday afternoon. LVC falls to 1-1 on the year while the Devils improve to 1-1 with the win.
The teams would trade goals through the first five minutes and change before 
Jaclyn Little and 
Livia Jackson would score back-to-back goals to give LVC an early 4-2 lead over FDU. The Devils would respond with three quick goals in a row to take their first lead of the game at 5-4 with 11:41 left to play in the opening half. LVC's 
Brittany Hathaway and 
Sydney Zimmerman would strike twice in a 35-second span to pull LVC back ahead once more. FDU would go on another one of their scoring runs, this time a five-goal streak that spanned nearly the final 8:32 of the half before 
Bailey Dills would score with just 17 ticks remaining to end the run and pull the Dutchmen within three at 10-7 at halftime.
The second half was controlled by the Devils as they outscored LVC 12-4 including a closing stretch of 17:55 where the Devils scored 10 goals compared to just one for the Dutchmen. LVC trailed by just two early in the second half thanks to a pair of goals by Hathaway and another by Little with 22:12 left in regulation. Unfortunately for the Dutchmen, they would add just one more goal for the remainder of the contest as the Devils cruised to the win, doubling up the Dutchmen 22-11.
 
Inside The Numbers
	- Brittany Hathaway led the scoring for LVC with four goals. Jaclyn Little and Livia Jackson each added a pair of scores for the Dutchmen offense.
 
	- Katie Walsh and Kylee Garcia paced the FDU attack with seven goals apiece followed by Emma Ciquera who added six.
 
	- LVC was outshot 41-19 and 33-16 on goal for the game.
 
	- The Dutchmen committed 11 turnovers compared to 13 for the Devils.
 
	- FDU was dominant in draw controls with 28 of the 35 going the way of the Devils.
 
Who's Next?
The Dutchmen return home to Arnold Field their next time out as they play host to Lycoming College on Thursday. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
