Several Esports Teams Return to Action

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Several Lebanon Valley College Esports teams returned to action this past week, including CS:GO, League of Legends, Valorant, and Super Smash Bros.
 
In CS:GO action, a team of Robbie Bonnaci, Brandon Kemmery, Brandon Bauer, Nikolai Neufeld-Kreider, and Dustin Haberstumpf competed in the NACCS Faceit Collegiate CS:GO Premier Division against the University of Illinois and fell 1-0. That same squad rebounded the following day and picked up a 1-0 victory over Shawnee State at the NACE Varsity Collegiate level.
 
James Zilinski, Jon Lam, Kaleb Longenecker, Moses Hawley, and Evan Nguyen edged Montclair State 2-1 on Jan. 30 in League of Legends action, while the Flying Dutchmen's Valorant team, made of up Bonnaci, Neufeld-Kreider, Jacob Layton, Andrew Seneca, and Lam, blanked the University of Northern Colorado 1-0.
 
In a Super Smash Bros. Singles Tournament, Kutztown Esports vs. The World Pt. 3, which featured 27 players, LVC's Darrell Walker took first place, while Andrew Syslo finished third.
