COMPLETE RESULTS
ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley swim team competed in their first home swim dual meet of the season against King's (Pa.) on Friday night. The women's team fell 113-91 while the men's team were also defeated 119-74 to the Monarchs.
On the women's side, LVC picked up a win to start the evening in the 200-medley relay with the team of
Cayla Sydow,
Courtney Betsock,
Emily Beard, and Jordyn Grossman. In individual races, Grossman, Beard, and Betsock picked up victories. Grossman took first in the 50-meter free with a time of 29.96. Beard finished first in the 100-meter fly after touching the wall in 1:13.44. Betsock's win came in the 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 1:25.60
On the men's side, the Dutchmen also were victorious in the 200-medley relay as the team of
David Palmer,
Jake Beidler,
Zach Peiffer, and
Noah Miccio finished first in a tight race to start the night, winning by just .44 seconds. Peiffer also picked up an individual win in the 100-meter fly with a time of 1:01.88. Palmer also recorded an individual victory in the 100-meter back with a time of 1:07.27.
Who's Next?
The Dutchmen are back in action next Sunday when they host Wilkes and Dickinson. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center.
