ANNVILLE, Pa. – Over the past few days, Lebanon Valley College's Esports teams have remained hot in Hearthstone and Rocket League action.
On Monday evening, the Overwatch team, which featured
Jacob Triano,
Benjamin McDonnell,
Colin Brophy,
Nikolai Neufeld-Kreider,
Grayson Rule, and
Cade Kassay, took down Messiah University 3-1.
Then, on Tuesday night, coming off their Arcadia University Tournament victory, the team of
Eli Jones,
Brandon Kemmery, and
Wyatt Morrison downed Arcadia 3-1. The group is now ranked No. 16 in the country, according to the College Hearthstone Observer.
LVC's Rocket League squad was also in action on Tuesday night. In their opening match,
Mason Garza,
Dylan Lower, and
Tyler Franquet defeated Arcadia 3-1, but then were narrowly edged by Robert Morris University by a 3-2 margin in the nightcap.
The Flying Dutchmen will make their Valorant debut this evening at 8 p.m. in their first-ever varsity match. On Thursday, LVC will then take on Robert Morris in Overwatch action at 8 p.m.
