ANNVILLE, Pa. – In Lebanon Valley Esports action, the Flying Dutchmen's impressive Hearthstone squad rattled off four victories this weekend to capture the title at Arcadia University's Invitational, which took place on Saturday and Sunday.
A team of
Eli Jones,
Brandon Kemmery, and
Wyatt Morrison earned five wins in two days to come away with the trophy. They defeated Northeastern University's 'B' Team 3-0 on Saturday, followed by a 3-0 victory over Eastern University.
Today, their dominance continued when Jones, Kemmery, and Morrison downed Kent State 3-0 to advance to the semifinal. The Dutchmen then edged Northeastern 3-2 to advance to the championship, where LVC took down the University of Akron 3-1 to come away with the title.

Hearthstone has only just begun and the Dutchmen will look to build off these victories in the coming weeks. LVC esports is back in action on Monday when the Overwatch team takes on Messiah College at 8 p.m.
