How It Happened
REISTERSTOWN, Md. – Stevenson scored three goals in the third period, and four total on the powerplay, to put away the Lebanon Valley men's ice hockey team 5-2 in the final game of the season on Saturday afternoon.

After a scoreless first period, where the two goaltenders combined for 27 saves, Stevenson would end the scoreless streak with a goal at the 6:37 mark of the second period on the powerplay. This was the first of four powerplay goals for the Mustangs. Less than a minute later, Tino Alunni would convert off assists from Alex Borowiec and Cole Hepler to tie the game up 1-1. Stevenson would regain the lead before intermission with their second man-up goal of the frame to take the 2-1 advantage into the dressing room with one period to play.

Stevenson would double their lead at the 11:18 mark of the final frame on a Christian Ripley goal. LVC would again answer, this time a shorthanded goal from Skyler Pugh to cut the deficit in half. Borowiec and Danny Galvez each picked up assists on the play. With under two minutes to go, Stevenson would tally a pair of powerplay goals within 25 seconds of each other to put away the Dutchmen 5-2.
