How It Happened
RYE, N.Y. – After scoring an early goal, LVC fell to Manhattanville 7-1 on Friday evening. The loss officially eliminates the Dutchmen from UCHC playoff contention.

The Dutchmen would get on the board first just 2:37 into the contest. Mychaela Pitta would find the stick of Madison Humes who would bury the puck in the back of the net giving LVC a quick 1-0 advantage. The Valiants would answer with a pair of goals to close out the period to grab their first lead, 2-1, that Manhattanville would take into the locker room. The Valiants would push their lead out to a pair in the second period with a powerplay goal just before the midway point of the frame. LVC would trail 3-1 with one period left to go.

Manhattanville controlled play in the third as they tallied four goals in the final 20 minutes to put away LVC and pick up the 7-1 victory.
