ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley swim team celebrated Senior Day along with their Pink Meet with a matchup against Hood College on Saturday afternoon. The Dutchmen fell 138-91 on the women's side and came up just short, 102-88, on the men's side.
COMPLETE RESULTS
For the women, LVC had three individual victories to go along with multiple runner-up finishes on the day. In the 50-meter free,
Hannah Scheiry touched the wall in 31.01 to take first place followed up shortly by
Natalie Bourne who took the silver at 31.48.
Erika Schell took first in the 100-meter free as she touched the wall in 1:05.22. Finally,
Courtney Betsock won the 200-meter IM with a time of 2:43.58.
For the men, LVC finished with two individual wins, both by
Dain Vallie, as well as a relay win for the day. Vallie finished in first in the 200-meter free with a time of 2:12.45 while also touching the wall first in the 400-meter free at 4:49.64. In the 200-meter free relay, the group of Vallie,
Noah Miccio, Gabriel Dimisa, and
Kyle Kingsbury took first place with a time of 1:48.59. LVC had a strong showing in the pool afternoon picking up numerous runner-up finishes.
The Dutchmen will be back in the pool for the MAC Championships that will take place from Feb. 13 to Feb. 16 at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa.
