ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's Esports teams put together an 8-4 overall record last week across several events, moving the Flying Dutchmen's overall record this fall to an impressive 38-16.
 
Last Monday (Oct. 19), Hearthstone defeated No. 3 Penn State University 3-2 in perhaps their best win of the season. A team of Eli Jones, Brandon Kemmery, and Wyatt Morrison finished 7-1 in the Tespa Open Division Split 1 and placed second out of 143 teams in the Eastern Division. Then, in Overwatch action, Jacob Triano, Benjamin McDonnell, Colin Brophy, Nikolai Neufeld-Kreider, Grayson Rule, and Cade Kassay fell narrowly to Southern New Hampshire by a score of 3-2.
 
This past Tuesday, LVC's Hearthstone team suffered a close 3-2 setback to Carleton University, and then a team of Mason Garza, Dylan Lower, and Robbie Bonnaci took down Penn College's 'B' Team 3-0 and Juniata College 3-0.
 
On Wednesday, Valorant was in action and Bonnaci, Neufeld-Kreider, Jacob Layton, Andrew Seneca, and Jon Lam downed Widener University 2-0 to continue a hot start to the season. Thursday, Hearthstone bounced back with a 3-1 victory over the University of Cincinnati, followed by another 3-0 victory for Overwatch, this time over DeSales University. On Saturday, Overwatch took down Lindenwood 2-0 before falling to the University of Rochester 2-0.
 
Also on Saturday, LVC's Call of Duty team, comprised of Layton, Peter Campagna, Harold Bowman, Ethan Filbert, and Chris DeClerico, fell to DePaul University 2-0 but then responded the next day with a 2-0 victory over Rockford University.
